Donald Paul Pitre, 61, a resident of Golden Meadow, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018. He was known for his unmatched love for his family, unrivaled kindness, extraordinary seafood jambalaya, extensive knowledge of the bible, and unwavering support of the Saints. Diagnosed with cancer in January 2016, Donald fought tirelessly to see his sons married and the birth of his granddaughter.
He is survived by his sons, Joshua Pitre (Nicole) and Jason Pitre (Dana); granddaughter, Adela Pitre; mother, Regina Pitre and sisters, Joycelyn Cheramie, Debbie Hornback and Jackie Breaux. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Pitre.
Falgout Funeral Home (Galliano) is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 6:00 -9:00 pm on Thursday, May 3, 2018 and from 8:00 - 11:00 am on Friday, May 4, 2018. Religious services will be at 11:00 am Friday with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
