Donald D.J. "White" Folse, 91, a native of Raceland and a resident of Thibodaux, former resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA and from 8:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, May 14, 2018 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Mathews, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Kraemer Folse; sons, Aaron, Rhett, Bart, Matt, Stuart and Don Folse; brothers, L.J. Folse and Kenneth Folse; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leandre Jr. and Celine Folse; son, Kyle Folse and sisters, Ouida Folse, Vera Wallace, Myrtis Lucas Smith and Cecilia Barrilleaux.
He was Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council # 4761, member VFW, American Legion and Most Blessed Sacrament Men's Club and Choir.
In lieu of flowers, consider donations to Bishop Ott Works of Mercy Trust Fund.
