Donald J. Authement, age 79, passed away peacefully on March, 18, 2018.
Visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Friday, March23, 2018 from 10:30 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the church starting at 12 noon with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Donald is survived by his son, Craig Authement (wife, Karen); granddaughters, Fallon A. Esponge (husband, Cameron) and Sabrina Authement; sister-in-law, Joy Winn; niece, Taffy Vizier.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie W. Authement; mother, Agatha Guidroz Authement; father, Jules Authement.
Don was a military veteran. He and his wife, Julie, owned and operated Authement Jewelry and the well-known, Safari Club. Don will be missed by many.
