Don was a teacher for over 40 years and loved his job and his students. He was a witty person and often related funny stories about his life and episodes experienced while teaching. His favorite activities included shopping and Wal-Mart where he could talk to everyone he met, buying and displaying holiday decorations, everything about Mardi Gras (Versailles King XXXIV), watching the political news (and cursing) and reality TV programs.
Thanks are extended to all family and friends who helped during his illness. The family also sends thanks and gratitude to the many doctors and medical workers at Ochsner, Lady of the Sea, Terrebonne General, Thibodaux Regional, and St. Joseph Hospice. God bless them all.
Don will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
