Dolores Rodrigue Robichaux, 74, a native of Thibodaux and resident Raceland, was entrusted to God's loving care on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at her home.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Hillary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Matthews. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Merille "Yock" J. Robichaux III. and wife, Kim Guidroz Robichaux; daughter, Darlene R. Foret and husband, Charles O. Foret; brother, Alvin Rodrigue and wife, Audrey McDaniel Rodrigue, and Euris Rodrigue Sr.; five grandchildren, Derrick J. Foret and wife, Marylynn P. Foret, Charles O. Foret Jr. and fianceé, Gina Clement, Christy Aline Foret Cortex and husband, Justin C. Cortez, Merille Thomas Robichaux and Jesse Robert Robichaux; and six great-grandchildren, Destiny and Derrick Foret Jr., Caitlyn , Charley Isabel, and Cooler J. Foret(mother, Crystal), and Brody Michael Cortez.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merille J. Robichaux Jr.; parents, Sevin Rodrigue and Aline Mars Rodrigue; and sister, Irena Rodrigue Labat.
Dolores was a member of St. Hilary of Poitiers Council of Catholic Women, National Shrine of St. Jude, Future Farmer of America Alumni for Raceland Jr. High and Central Lafourche High School, Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Raceland Post 3665, Lafourche Parish Farm Bureau Women Committee, Louisiana State University Ag. Center Cooperative Extension Service, a former member of 15 1/2 yrs. to the Raceland Homemaker's Club, and St. Hillary of Poitiers Kaycee Auxiliary charter member.
