Dolores "Jean" Blanchard Pitre, 73, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by three sons, Cody J. Pitre and wife, Michele, Stuart W. Pitre and wife, Mary, and Chad J. Pitre, all of Orlando Fla.; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Sarah, Jaelyn, Alisha, Grace, Cody Jr., and Zachary; and four siblings, F.E. "Cubby" Blanchard and Mary Blanchard Robertson, both of Bayou Blue, Diane Blanchard Westfall of Tuscon, Ariz. and Doris Blanchard Arceneaux of Bourg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Pitre; parents, Fermand Blanchard and Vera Bateman Blanchard; and brother, Charles Blanchard.
She was a 1958 graduate of Terrebonne High. She was formerly employed by Dr. Hagen and Dr. Beyer's ENT office. She lived in Houma and Bourg until her retirement in 2008 when she moved to Orlando, Fla.
