Dolores Folse

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Dolores Comeaux Folse, passed away at the age of 83 on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at home with family after her battle with cancer. She was a native of Carencro, LA and resident of Raceland, LA.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church from 9:00 am until service time. A Mass and Christian burial will be celebrated at the church starting at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Dolores is survived by her two sons, Glenn Folse (Linda), Herman Folse; three daughters, Cynthia Adams (Kenny), Elaine Foret (Donnie), Kathleen Martin (Mike Miles); ten grandchildren; one step grandchild; three great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Albert Comeaux (Annie), and Clayton Comeaux.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Daniel J. Folse; her parents, Joseph and Cecile Trahan Comeaux; maternal grandparents, Theoville and Anna Weiss/Wise Trahan; paternal grandparents, Caliste and Ernestine Addison Comeaux; four brothers, Daley, Caliste, Whitney and Euby Comeaux; four sisters, Della Cormier, Anna Quebedeaux, Beulah Stelly and Ernestine Broussard.

Dolores was a devoted and caring housewife and mother and loved to babysit her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church.

The family extends their sincerest thanks and appreciation to all Ochsner St. Anne and New Orleans, TGMC, Ochsner Home Health of Raceland, and St. Joseph Hospice physicians, medical staff and caregivers for the great care and compassion they provided. Sincerest thanks and appreciation is also extended to St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church clergy and Eucharistic ministers, St. Joseph Hospice clergy, and all the family and friends who remained unwavering in their positive thoughts, support and prayers.
