Dolores Marie Champagne

Mass of Christian for Mrs. Dolores Marie Champagne will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, LA. with Father Duc Bui officiating. Interment will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA. and Falgout Funeral Homes in Raceland, LA.

Mrs. Champagne, age 91, of Hessmer, LA. formerly of Larose, LA. passed on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Albin Champagne, Jr.; parents, Louis and Verda Brunet Cheramie; three brothers; and two sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cathy Daigle of Hessmer, LA., Dinah Ketchum of Lockport, LA., Torey Trosclair (Keith) of Larose, La., and Penny Felarise of Golden Meadow, LA.; one brother, Herman Cheramie; three sisters, Della Mae Danos, Della Pitre and Dorthy Legendre; seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren and one on the way.

The family requests visitation be held at the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, LA., on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 starting at 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
