Mary Agnes Toups Diaz, 83, a native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away at 2:48 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, in Lockport.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Diaz; daughters, Melinda "Mindy" Baronne, Cecile Diaz, Madeline Browning and husband, David, and Margaret Diaz Fugetta and husband, Frank; and grandchildren, Alyse and Dillon Baronne, David and Kate Browning, and Andrew and Bradley Fugetta.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David D. Diaz; son-in-law, Anthony "Tony" Baronne; parents, Joseph O. Toups Jr. and Bessie Chiasson Toups; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Daviet.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or memorial Masses.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
