Dianne M. Hollowell, 69, a native of Larose and resident of Golden Meadow passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport on Monday, February 12th from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Dianne is survived by her companion, David Griffin; sons, Tommy (Tuawanna) Shicknider, and Travis Shicknider; daughter, Shanti Shicknider; grandchildren, Trake Shicknider, Leric Serigny, Talon Shicknider, Dalton Shicknider, Kaleb Shicknider, Hannah Shicknider, Alee Shicknider, Ashlyn Shicknider, Layne Chiasson, Travis Shicknider, Jr.; siblings, Virginia Richard, Ella Naquin, Norman Matherne, Rex Matherne, and Fay Matherne.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Augustine and Rosie Mae Matherne; siblings, Judy Jacks, Beulah Schexnayder, Edgar Matherne, and Belinda Guevera.
Dianne loved to crochet and donate blankets and hats to Children’s Hospital. She also donated her.
time and services to local churches.
Falgout Funeral Home is honored to serve the Shicknider and Matherne family.
