Diane Martin Beard, 76, a native of Taft and resident of Luling, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
Visitation will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, on Thursday, October 20th from 9 am until service time. A funeral service will be held at 11 am with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery.
Diane is survived by her children, Patrick J. Beard (Julie), Mark E. Beard (Lori), Susan A. Beard (Sean Desselles); grandchildren, Carlie, Hailey, Matthew and Conner Beard; sisters, Patsy Brown (Ronald), Mary Ann Gassen (Lucien), Linda Zeringue and companion, August DiGiovanni.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Beard, Jr.; parents, Patrick and Mable Martin; brother, Patrick “PJ” Martin, Jr. and brother-in-law, David “Whip” Zeringue.
Diane was a community and school volunteer and one of the founders of Ladies Auxiliary of the Luling Volunteer Fire Department.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
