Roland "Cotton" Deroche, 75, a native of Des Allemands and resident of Luling, died Friday, Sept. 23, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Holy Family Dr. at Lakewood, Luling. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with interment at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Des Allemands.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Deroche; his children, Elaine Pimentel and husband, Rudy, Patricia Daste and husband, Craig Sr., and Gina Madere and husband, Steven "Bubba"; five grandchildren; and two siblings, Bobby Deroche and Jeanette Champagne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark Anthony Deroche and Josephine Dufrene Deroche; and two brothers, Floyd and Luther Deroche.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
