Dempsey "Shawee" J. Borne, 86, a native of Chenier and resident of Golden Meadow, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2014.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow.
