Deke Bonvillain

Deke Bonvillian, 47, a native of Cut Off and resident of Metairie passed away on Monday, January 4th, 2021.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.
Mr. Deke is survived by his wife; Helena D. Bonvillain, son; Tahj Leon Bonvillian, daughter; Neko Elise Bonvillain, mother; Darlene Pierce Vega, “Dad”; Paul Joseph Vega, half- sister; Brandy Raines, godchild; Sophia Pierce, step-grandparents; Woodrow and Janice Vega.
Mr. Bonvillain was preceded in death by his brother; Bryan Hubert James, father; Ernest J. Bonvillain, grandparents; E.J. and Joyce Pierce, and Sidney and Mello Bonvillain.
Deke loved being with his children, Tahj and Neko at every opportunity. He loved his job with Fox Sports working the Saints games. He will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew him.
