David Wayne Arceneaux, a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Houma passed away Saturday April 16, 2016 at his residence at the age of 61.
The family request visitation to be observed Thursday April 21, 2016 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma from 5 until 10 PM. Visitation will resume Friday April 22, 2016 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 9 until 11 Am. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 Am followed by grave side services at St. Francis II.
David was an avid fisherman and Saints fan, loved music and his pond. He was employed by Gulf south armature.
David is survived by his wife Nora Guerrero Arceneaux, son Jared Arceneaux, daughter Jasmine Arceneaux and companion Walter Sons, grandchildren, Natalie, Foxx, and Avery, brother John and wife Donna Arceneaux , sisters Brenda and wife Mickey Cougot and Nanette Arceneaux, mother-in-law Eulalia Guerrero. Sister-in- laws Grace and husband Kenny Broussard, Carmen and husband Timmy Jones,
Norma and husband Dustin Roberts, Elsie and husband Wayne LeBlanc, Claudia and husband Mark Ruth, and
Lyz and husband Juan Puente, Brother-in-laws Hector Guerrero, Miguel and wife Amanda Guerrero, Marco and wife Amy Guerrero, and Joshua and wife Devi Guerrero
David was preceded in death by his parents George Hugh and Dorothy Mildred Arceneaux, sister Mary Elizabeth Arceneaux, grandparents Florian Louis and Josephine Gravois Arceneaux, Eddie Houston and Exie Westbrook Cook, and father-in-law Ignacio Guerrero.
In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations, also there's has been a gofund me account established in his name.
Falgout Funeral Home of Houma has been entrusted with the arrangements.
