David John Perkins Sr., 62, a native of Des Allemands and resident of Bayou Gauche, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. till funeral time Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with burial in Sunset Cemetery in Bayou Gauche.
He is survived by his wife, Angie Dufrene Perkins; one son, Robbie Perkins and wife, Tracy; one daughter, Stacie Dufrene, and husband, Elvin Dufrene Jr.; two brothers Harris “TT” Perkins and Alan Perkins; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Eva V. Perkins; his stepfather, Whitney Bonvillain; one son, David “Poncho” Perkins Jr.; one brother, Ernest “Chooky” Perkins; and one sister, Judy Cortez.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
