David Joseph Lirette Sr

David Joseph Lirette, Sr., age 58, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 8:25 a.m. He was a native and resident of Chauvin, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chauvin on Saturday, July 23, 2022 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until at Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in church cemetery.

David is survived by his son, David “D.J.” Lirette Jr. and wife, Allyssa; daughters, Melissa Lirette, and Lucy Martin; mother, Geraldine “Deany” Menard Lirette; brother, Wayne Lirette and wife, Veronica; grandchildren, Cody, Cameron, and Collin LeCompte, Daimen, Draeden, and Davin Lirette, Jeremy Martin, Altantis Cox, Reggie Jr. and Devin Mack; good friend, Phyllis Thomassie.

David was preceded in death by his father, Clinton “T-Boy” Lirette; grandparents, Randolph and Hazel Dupre Lirette, and Theodore “Ted” and Annette Dupre Menard.
