David P. Cheramie, 46 a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La. passed away on Monday, August, 22, 2022 with his loving family near his side.
Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2022 from 10:00am until 8:00pm at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, La. and on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, La. from 9:00am until service times. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm with burial at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Larose, La.
David is survived by his children; David P. Cheramie, II, and Mia (Mia Plaisance) Cheramie, grandchild; Cullen Joseph Collins, companion; Sparkle S. Clark, brothers; Leo Lopez, Sr. and Berwick “Popeye” (Rhonda) Cheramie, Jr., sisters; Sue Garcia, Sandy Cheramie, Annette Cheramie, godchildren; Daphne Guidry, Macy (Grant) Rodrigue, Mikey Falgout, and Megan Bourgeois.
David was preceded in death by his parents; Berwick Cheramie, Sr. and Betty LaBiche Cheramie.
David was employed by Kenworth of Louisiana in Gray, La. He enjoyed woodworking and carving, he was an avid RC Racing fan.
