Daniel Eddie "Pony" Dardar, 63, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Dularge, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Meenakshi Jolly Dardar; daughter, Cassie Kiger; stepdaughter, Kriti Khari; stepsons, Ashish and Ashkrit Khari; sister, Barbara Diaz; and brother, Blaine Dardar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Antoine and Thelma Bouffanie Dardar.
He was a council member for the United Houmas Nation in Golden Meadow and he was on the committee for the United Houmas Nation in Dulac. He was an artist who loved to paint and play drums. He loved to sing and dance and play with the Indian children.
