Dale “Moose” Bourgeois, 81, a native and resident of Houma, LA., passed away on Tuesday June 8, 2021 with his loving family at his side.
Visitation will be on Saturday June 12, 2021 from 9:00am until service time at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A Celebration of life will be at 11:00am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with burial at St. Francis #2 Catholic Cemetery.
“Moose” is survived by his wife of 60 years; Gayle V. Bourgeois, daughters; Donna LeBeouf, Michele Bourgeois, brothers; Aaron Bourgeois and Lloyd (Darla) Bourgeois, sisters; Carmen (James) Naquin, Janet (Dusty) Theriot, grandchildren; Derek LeBeouf and companion; Angie Ellis, Allison (Chris) Cazenave, 1 great grandchild; Cooper Cazenave and another on the way, brother-in-law; Norman Bergeron, sister-in-law; Joyce (Leroy) Hebert, numerous nieces and nephews.
“Moose” was preceded in death by his parents; Roy and Gladys Boudreaux Bourgeois, in-laws; Elmo and Lena Vedros, brother; Wayne Bourgeois, sisters; Sandra Bergeron, Mary Lynn (Adam) Gambarella, sisters-in-law; Diane Vedros, Dorothy Bourgeois.
“Moose” was an Antique car enthusiast, a jack of all trades and a master of many. He served our country at a peaceful time in the Army National Guard.
