Curtis Joseph Leblanc Sr., 60, a native of Larose and resident of Houma, died Friday, June 10, 2011.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be held at noon Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his companion, Joyce Freche; his parents, Dorothy Cheramie Leblanc; five children, Tifiney Leblanc, Michelle Leblanc, Carla Bouzigard and husband, Chad, John Leblanc and wife, Sharla, and Curtis Leblanc Jr. and wife, Sabrina; four grandchildren, Meagan Leblanc, Shelby Pittman, Bethany Bouzigard and Kelby Leblanc; and one sister, Sharlene Guidry.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Leblanc; his stepfather, Junior Loupe; his grandparents, Eddie Leblanc and Selma or Geron Leblanc; and his brother-in-law, Russell Guidry.
He was a member of Lafourche Parish Cattleman's Association and was a past president. He enjoyed washing cars, penning up cows, loved to go crabbing, dancing and was an avid gardener. He was OCD and he defined the term.
