Corinne R. Matherne, 91, a native and resident of Raceland, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean M. Folse and husband, Harold Sr.; daughter-in-law, Carol C. Matherne; and eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold J. Matherne Sr.; her parents, Alvy and Bernadette B. Roussell; one son, Arnold J. Matherne Jr.; two brothers, Albert "Happy" Roussell and Jackson Roussell; and sister, Eunice Legendre Faucheux.
She was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church.
