Conrad T. Plaisance Sr.

Conrad T. Plaisance, Sr., 76, a native and resident of Raceland passed away on Sunday, August 28th, 2022.
Family and friends are invited to attend a wake on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022, at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland from 9:00 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 with procession following to his burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
Mr. Conrad is survived by his loving wife of 57 years: Antoinette “Toni” Howard Plaisance; daughters: Mathilde Plaisance Rivero, and Connie Plaisance (Adam V. III) Autin; sons: Conrad (Jessica) Plaisance, Jr., and Shannon (Michelle) Plaisance, Sr.; 18 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother: Nessie Plaisance; and sister: Effie Romero.
Mr. Plaisance was preceded in death by son-in-law: Christopher Rivero, Sr.; granddaughter: Angel Lynn Autin; parents: Philocles and Josephine Foret Plaisance; brothers: Cleveland, Warren, Whitney, Randolph, Godfrey, and Sedric; and sisters: Lorraine and Adriel.
Conrad enjoyed hunting, fishing, working with his hands, and was a jack of all trades. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.
