Colton Jenkins, Sr., 88, a native of Opelousas and resident of Larose passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church at 3:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Dianna Jenkins, Emma Boyd, Linda Jenkins, Clara Pierre (Kermit), Elizabeth Jenkins (Alton), Tammy Jenkins, Russell Jenkins (Marrie) and Colton Jenkins (Faye); sister, Wilma Joseph (Freddy); 31 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia Jenkins; parents, James and Clara Taylor Jenkins; children, Willie Jenkins, Sr., Elaine Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, Gerald Jenkins and Joanna Preston; brothers, George Jenkins, Jimmy Jenkins and Wilbert Jenkins; sisters, Mary Jenkins and Joyce Joseph.
Falgout Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements
