Clinton P. "Pony" Roux, Jr., 89, a native and resident of Luling, LA, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Luling, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA.
He was survived by his sons, Danny Roux and wife Gale, Clinton Roux III, Jimmy Roux and wife Sherry; daughter, Donna Orgeron and husband Gerald; grandchildren, Brayden and Chelsey Orgeron, Kellie Landeche, Jamie, Michael and Clinton IV, Brenton Roux, Dayna Chance, Chrissie Bergeron and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Landry Roux; parents, Clinton Roux Sr. and Andrea Ourso Roux ; sisters, Dorothy St. Amant and Lillian Lirette and half-sister, Hilda Nixon.
Pony retired from Monsanto Chemical Company after 31 years of service. He was a member of the VFW and a former member of the U.S. Marine Corps.
