Cleveland J. Foret, 89, passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 10, 2022.
Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, March 14, 2022 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Mauret Family Life Center in Thibodaux, LA from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Cleveland is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joan Baudoin Foret; daughters, Jackie (John) Blanchard, Jennifer (Sandy) Foret and Jill (Kevin) Trosclair; grandchildren, Matthew Blanchard, Celeste (Elray) Dupre, Nicole (Eric) Ledet and Jacob Trosclair; great-grandchildren, Branson and Ethan Cotton, Chloe and Paul Ledet.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ignace and Alice May Foret; brother, Gordon Foret.
Cleveland was a United States Veteran, who served proudly in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 349 of Raceland, LA.
He loved spending time with his wife and family. He was an avid LSU fan and enjoyed fishing and traveling.
