Clayton E. Folse, 95, a native and resident Raceland, LA, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday, December 7, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Ronald J. Folse and wife Faith B. Folse; daughters, Dolores F. St. Pierre, Kathryn Folse; grandchildren, Danielle A. St. Pierre, Justin M. Folse and wife Phallyn, Jennifer A. Folse; great grandchild, Evan T. Allen; brother, Gatewood "Pott" Folse and sisters, Leonelle Melancon and Zefa Pennison and other relatives and friends,
He was preceded in death by his wife Leota B. Folse; parents, Emile and Serillia B. Folse; grandchild, Christopher C. St. Pierre; brothers, Harold J. Folse, Reed J. Folse, Hodges A. Folse Sr. and sister Helen Zerangue.
The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Marcello, Dr. Kenneth Wong, Dr. Ralph Benson and their staff; the staff of Ochsner St. Anne Hospital and the caregivers who lovingly provided for his needs at home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Mary Nativity School, 3500 Highway 1, Raceland, LA 70394.
