Clayton Joseph Dupuis, 73, a native of Leonville and resident of Houma, died Saturday, May 26, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, with burial in the church cemetery No. 2 Mausoleum.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Peggy Leger Dupuis; daughters, Debbie Dupuis Voisin of Houma and Sondra Dupuis Georges; grandchildren, Devin Georges and Jordan Georges; and sisters, Mary Dupuis of Hemphill, Alaska and Shirley Joy Dupuis Tyler of Metairie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton Joseph Dupuis Sr. and Alfreda Robin Dupuis; and brother, Warren Dupuis.
He was Catholic. He enjoyed gardening, taxidermy, fishing and shrimping, dancing, loved music and loved life. He loved his wife and family dearly. He graduated with a master's degree from USL and worked for the Board of Health for 47 years.
