Clark A. Lirette, 86, a native of Montegut and resident of Raceland passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Tuesday, November 23rd from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Penny (Don) Shumaker, Stephanie Lee and Cam (Warren) Meche; sons, Arthur (Monica) Lirette and Jesse (Michelle) Lirette; grandchildren, Samantha (Josh) Brock, Eugene (Leah) Chessher, Sidney Chessher, Amanda Chessher, Phillip (Erica) Lirette, Roy Lirette and Marcus Lirette; step-grandchildren, James Meche, Wyatt Detillier and Vaugh-Michael Detillier and many grand pets; 7 great-grandchildren 2 step-great-grandchildren; godchild, Tina Austin Babin.
He was preceded in death by his wives, 1st Cressie Breaux Lirette and 2nd Viola LeBouef Lirette; parents, Etienne Roy Lirette and Madeline Engeron Lirette; grandsons, Michael Lirette and Kelly Ray Detillier.
He worked for Texaco for 40 years. He loved gardening and making rosaries.
He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Nativity and St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Churches. He was a Eucharist Minister for St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church
