Clarence J. "C.J." "Jay" "Rod" Rodriguez, Jr., 83, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Galliano, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galliano, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cut Off, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Willa Mae Cheramie Rodriguez; daughter, Wanda Rape (Monty); son, Wade A. Rodriguez, Sr. (Anita); grandchildren, Terra, Wade Jr, Ladie', Brent and Brad; great grandchildren, Rhea, Breanna, Jecia, Eric, Brent Jr., Murphy, Lexton and Brenden and sister, Mary Rodriguez.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Sr. and Ena Plaisance Rodriguez and sisters, Syble Callais and Ruby Rodriguez.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
