Clarence J. Orgeron Sr., 90, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 1:54 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2011.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Our Lady of the Rosary in Larose. Mass will be held at noon Friday at the church, with burial at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.
He is survived by three sons, Clarence Orgeron Jr. and wife, Mary, Sidney Orgeron and wife, Sherry, and Abel Orgeron and wife, Linda; three sisters, Mabel Richoux, Dora Mae Ledet and Clara Matherne; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Verlie Allemand Orgeron; his parents, Leon and Emma Plaisance Orgeron; three brothers, Forrest, Dudley and Eldon Orgeron; and three sisters, Norma Gaspard, Lorena LeBlanc and Laura Orgeron.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary.
