Clarence Joseph Ledet, Jr., 96 a native of Thibodaux, La. and a resident of Lockport, La. passed away on Friday August 13, 2021 with his loving family at his side not COVID related.
Visitation will be Thursday August 19, 2021 from 9:00am until service time at Holy Savior Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00am, mask mandate is in effect per the Archdiocese of Houma-Thibodaux. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Clarence is survived by his children; Larry (Jean) Ledet, Connie (Willie) Folse, Odile “Deely” Lee and Roxy (Jessie) Folse, grandchildren; Lauren, Julie, Vaughan, Destiny, Jake, Cheri, Levi, and Ross, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Clarence was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Doris Parr Ledet, parents; Clarence, Sr. and Constance Babin Ledet, step-sister; Ann Babin Himel.
Clarence served in the US Army and later retired from the US Army as a master sergeant, he also retired from Lafourche Life Insurance Company. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing cards and grilling for his family and friends.
