Clarence P. Champagne, 76, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Jeannette Roussell Champagne; sons. David Champagne, Gary Champagne and wife Lori; daughters, Kathy Levron and husband Faron, Denise Ledet and husband Robbie; grandchildren; Michelle Luneau and husband Gary, Travis Hutcherson and fiancé Ashley, Stacy Levron and husband Derrel, Dylan Levron, Mindy Lapeyrouse and husband Lou, Bruce Naquin, Danielle Ledet and fiancé Derek, Brandi Champagne and fiancé Brandon, Brian Champagne and wife Amberly, Rochelle Champagne, Lance Champagne and fiancé Shawna, Brandon Levron, Tiffany Ledet and fiancé Chancing, Monique Ledet; great grandchildren; Blake, Talon, Madalein, Paisley, Peyton, Kenzi, Emy, Krista, Eve, Briley, Mason, Coen, Brycen, Lauren, Aiden, Tai, Brynna, Andre, and Makinley; brothers, Franklin Champagne and wife Barba, Herbert Champagne and wife Bonnie, Hubert Champagne and wife Gloria, Cleveland Champagne and wife Audrey, Gerald Champagne and wife Patsy; and sister, Debra Fields and husband Clarence "Jocko".
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Pearl Theriot Champagne; sons-in-law; David Hutcherson, Carroll Naquin; brother, Junius Champagne; and sisters, Mary Soudelier and Theresa Champagne.
