Clara Savoie Chauvin, 87, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Lockport, died at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews, with burial at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.
She is survived by her son, Frederick "Freddie" Allemand and wife, Elaine; two daughters, Carol Touchard Breaux and husband, Louis, and Kathleen Allemand Chiasson and husband, Tommy; and seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tillman Allemand; second husband, Anthony Chauvin; parents, Elves and Lena Blanchard Savoie; and sister, Elsie Hargis.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
