Clara D. Bourg, 78, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, died at 4:17 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 8 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Galliano.
She is survived by her husband, Ervin Bourg; two sons, Myron Bourg and wife, Charlotte, and Mark Bourg; two daughters, Miriam Gisclair and husband, Rodney, and Melissa Gisclair and husband, Rusty; two sisters, Leola Guidry and Rema Chouest; seven grandchildren, Zachary Gisclair, Quint Bourg, Ashley Cheramie, Jai Bourg, Emily Bourg, Eric Bourg and Connor Gislcair; and one step-grandchild, eight great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Roselind Kiger Doucet; and daughter-in-law, Mary Barrilleaux Bourg.
She was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
