Cindy Guidry, 60, a native of Houma and resident of Raceland, died at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma.
She is survived by her companion of six years, Jerry McClelland; son, William Traylor and companion, Melissa Omes; daughter, Kim Guidry Mazac and husband, Michael; brothers, Lawrence Jr. and wife, Susan, Gary Guidry and wife, Nancy, and Charles Robichaux and wife, Kathy; four grandchhildren, Shea and Saadi Francis and William and Laura Traylor; and nieces and nephews, Kailey, Amanda, Kevin, Cory and Leah Guidry and Ricky, Ronnie, Robbie and Donnalyn Robichaux.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Sr. and Marjorie Smith Guidry; and one grandson, Chase Francis.
She was very fond of her grandchildren who were the love of her life.
The family extends special and heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Raceland Manor and the third floor of Ochsner St. Anne Hospital.
