Christine M. Hamilton, 83, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and resident of Houma, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014.A private memorial service was held at home.She is survived by her daughter, Brenda G. Gertz and husband, Herman Lee Gertz; son, Joseph W. Johnson; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale C. Hamilton; son, Charles David Johnson; parents, James and Grace Mason; and brother, James W.
