Chris Joseph Walker, 63, a native and resident of Raceland, LA passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 31, 2015 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Mathews, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
He is survived by his wife Martha Michel Walker; daughters, Sandy Walker, Lisa Walker Adams and husband James; granddaughter, Avery Grace Adams; brother, Allan Paul Walker and sister, Adele Walker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irby and Rita Monier Walker.
Chris was an avid softball player who was recently inducted into the USSSA Hall of Fame. He was a member of the St. Hilary Knights of Columbus. He was a teacher and coach for many years. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
