Chris Joseph Thibodeaux

Chris Joseph Thibodeaux, age 73, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Friday, December 1, 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.

Chris is survived by his son, Benny “Ben” Jarveaux and wife, Dawn; daughters, Laura T. Arceneaux and husband, James “Jamie”, and Amy E. Thibodeaux; brother, Maurice P. Thibodeaux and wife, Elaine; sisters, Mary “Marie” T. Prejeant, Barbara T. Arceneaux, Mercedes T. Bergeron, and Sandra T. Mizell and husband, Rupert “Garlin”; brothers-in-law, Clyde Bergeron, and John “Jack” Fernandez; and grandchildren Jace and Jackson Jarveaux, Brooke Arceneaux, Kane Matthews, Kami and Aly White.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Maruice Pierre and Clara Marie Theriot Thibodeaux; sisters, Betty T. Allemand and husband, Roland, Sr., Clarabel T. Fernandez, and Maxine T. Braud and husband, Edward “E.J.”.

Chris was the owner of Chris’ Heating and Air for 10 years plus. He worked for Dave’s Cajun Kitchen until his retirement. Chris enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with family and friends. He had an infectious smile and loved to make people laugh.
