Chester Lefort

Chester A. Lefort, 65, a native of Larose and resident of Galliano passed away Nov. 13, 2015. Visitation will take place at Falgout Funeral Home on Thursday Nov 19th from 9:00 am till service time. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 pm in the funeral parlor with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.

Mr. Chester is survived by his wife of 37 years Linda Duet Lefort, children Troy Guidry wife Laura, Casey Gaspard husband Dexter, Jason Lefort wife Norma, and Dana Francis, grandchildren Cole, Lyla, Whitley, Ronin, and Collins, brothers Phillip Lefort wife Christine, and Sidney Lefort Jr. wife Lynn, sisters Suzanne Pitre husband Daniel and Anna Mae Lefort, nephews and nieces Shane Pitre, Chad Pitre, Danielle Bryant husband William, Jamie Lefort, and John Allen Lefort and wife Erica.

Mr. Lefort was preceded in deat by his parents Sidney Lefort Sr. and Noemie Martin Lefort and son Corey Guidry.

Thanks to all nurses CNA's, therapist, dialysis's tech's at TGMC, AMG Specialty Clinic, Thibodaux Regional and Heritage Manor for taking good care of my husband. Thanks to Galliano Dialysis and Home Health staff members. Special thanks to Dr. Maidoh, Dr. Jukes, and Dr. Mark Hebert for their professional care and compassion given to my husband. Special thanks also to Dr. Russell Henry for the last 25 years of excellent care he gave, going above and beyond. Chester and I didn't just consider him as his family doctor, but as family.
