Chester H. Boudreaux, 88, a native of Labadieville, La. and resident of Raceland, La. passed away on July, 16, 2023 with his loving family near his side.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 21, 2023 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00am with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Chester is survived by his wife of 64 years Ena Foret Boudreaux, children; Kay Boudreaux Uzee (Leo), Patrick “Pat” Boudreaux (Penny), Michael Boudreaux (Sher), Allen Boudreaux (Lori), grandchildren; Dylan, Drew, Kylee, Hailey, Jordan, Meghan, and Michelle, great-grandchildren; Ella, Waylon, Andi, and Charlie, and brother; Edgar Boudreaux.
Chester was preceded in death by his parents; Numa and Ophelia Ford Boudreaux, daughter-in-law; Desiree Boudreaux, brothers; Edward “Pookie” Boudreaux, and Carol Boudreaux, sisters; Hazel Simon and Eunice St. Pierre.
Chester retired from MD Valentine Paper Company after 47 years of faithful service. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and trawling. He was a member of the American Legion Post 349 and served our country in the U.S. Army.
