Cheryl Jenkins Lyons, 55, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 12:05 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Faith Baptist Church, 347 Dixie Ave. in Houma. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
She is survived by her husband, Lyies Lyons Jr.; father, Wilber Jenkins; five sons, Tylor Lyons and wife, Dana, Destin Lyons, Dustin Lyons, Chance Lyons, and Lyies "T-Boy" Lyons and wife, Alisha; four daughters, Michelle Robichaux, Jennica Comardelle and husband, Beau, Jamie Lyons and Kylie Badeaux; brother, Michael Jenkins; two sisters, Jolene Pech and Deborah Itschner; and 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marietta Ludlow; daughter, Corie Robichaux; and one grandchild.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
