Chelsi Pertuit Eschette, 33, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 PM until 10 PM on Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home and from 8 AM until service time on Wednesday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at St. Hilary with burial to follow at St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Caleb J. Eschette and Jamie J. Eschette; parents, Todd J. Pertuit and Stacy Toups Pertuit; brother, Clint J. Pertuit and wife, Veronica Robichaux Pertuit; nephews, Tristan J. Pertuit and Trevor T. Pertuit; grandparents, Betty F. Pertuit and Raymond "Pappie" Toups and Rosalie Baudoin Toups.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Josh J. Eschette; grandfather, Edward P. Pertuit and godmother, Brandy Lynn Toups.
Her children were her world – she lived for them. She was a volunteer coach for her children's baseball and soccer teams. She loved to fish and she loved all animals.
In lieu of flowers, donations to any United Community Bank for the children of Josh and Chelsi Pertuit is preferred.
