Charlene S. Prestenback

Charlene S. Prestenback, 71, a native of Chauvin, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA and from 8:30 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at St. Hilary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Prestenback, Sr.; sons, Lee Prestenback, Jr.; Chad Prestenback (Tracie), Chris Prestenback (Christie) and James Prestenback (Angela); daughter, Paula Prestenback (Meagan); children she helped raise, Paul Smith, Brian Hebert, Charlotte Bourg, Charlene Christine, and nieces & nephews; sister, Marlene Busey; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan and Martha Smith; grandson, Colby Prestenback; brother, Kim Smith and sisters, Darlene White, Elaine White and Arlene Pitre.
Charlene was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
