Cecile Lirette

Cecile Davaine Lirette, 72, a native and resident of Raceland, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Falgout's Funeral Home in Raceland. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles Community, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lawrence Lirette Sr.; two sons, Dale Lirette Sr. and wife, Sherry, and Ray Lirette Sr. and Kimberly; one daughter, Wanda Guilbeau; three brothers, Joseph Davaine and wife, Mary, Elton Davaine and wife, Shirley, and Clifton Davaine and wife, Tina; one sister, Adele Fitch; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charley Davaine and Sadie Rivet Davaine; and one son, Lawrence Lirette Jr.
