Cathy Cheramie

Cathy C. Cheramie, 64, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano passed away February 3, 2014. A Rosary will be recited Saturday February 8th, 2014 at 10:30am at St Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.
Mrs. Cathy is survived by her husband of 49 years Joseph Anthony Cheramie, her sons Joey Cheramie and wife Deana, Ricky Cheramie and wife Hadassah Edwards, Jason Cheramie and wife Bobbi, her grandchildren Katie Cheramie, Sebastian Cheramie, Sophie Cheramie, and Jackson Cheramie, brothers Nolta Cheramie Jr., Ralph Cheramie, and Milton Cheramie and sister Audrey Bradberry.
She was preceded in death by her parents Nolta and Virgis B. Cheramie.
Mrs. Cathy loved spending time with her grandchildren and family and enjoyed working at the Cajun Pecan House, trawling in the summer, and reading. She was a devout Catholic and a member of the Ladies Altar Society at St. Jospeh Catholic Church.
