Carva Knight Layani, 79, a native of Lockport, LA and a resident of Donaldsonville, LA, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Holy Savior Little Church, Lockport, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Tom Williams and Abraham Elhiany; daughter, Zohara St. Amant; brothers, Earjie David Knight and Durward Knight; sisters, Carmella Champagne and Katy Stevens; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan Layani; parents Earjie and Ena Knight and brother, Courtland Knight.
Carva was a retired surgical nurse, school nurse and hospice nurse.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
