Carroll John Theriot

Carroll John Theriot, 78, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana passed away with his loving family at his side.

Visitation will be Friday, April 8, 2022 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with burial at St. Francis #2.

Carroll is survived by his children, Tammy T. Haydel (Robert, Jr.), Troy Theriot (Michelle), and Tricia Theriot; grandchildren, Brigette Frank, Vanessa Bonner, Hadley Theriot, and Starr Leger; great-granddaughter, Aly Billiot; loving companion, Dina Alloway; step-grandchildren, Lauren and Brayden Haydel; brother, Mark Theriot; sister, Patricia “Patsy” Kraemer; and numerous step-daughters, sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren from the Alloway-Verdin family.

Carroll was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Linda Martinez Theriot; parents, Louis, Sr. and Sirena King Theriot; grandparents, John and Dorathea King and Gilbert and Josephine LeBeouf; brothers, Darrell, Dave, Normal, Louis, Jr. and Jerome Theriot; sisters, Arelena Dupre and Dorothy Anna Singleton.

Carroll enjoyed fishing, oldies music, dancing and collecting classic cars. He loved to barbeque every weekend and for his family to gather and visit. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Carroll was a Parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

The family would like to thank Dr. Herminio Suazo and Roxanne Carter, RN of the Kidney and Hypertension Clinic of Houma for taking care of their beloved Dad for the last eight years.
