Carolyn Rodrigue Marse

Carolyn Rodrigue Marse, 85, a native of Westwego, LA and a resident of Labadieville, LA, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
Visitation will be from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2085 St. Mary St., Thibodaux, LA and from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Westwego, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday with burial to follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
She is survived by her husband, Julien Marse, Jr.; sons, David Marse (Celia) and Julien “Jay” Marse, III; grandchildren, Daniel Marse and Matthew Marse and great granddaughter, Caroline Marse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Vina Rodrigue.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Ladies Altar Society. She will be remembered as the teacher at Mrs. Marse Kindergarten, where she taught children for many years. She was loved by all of them.
