Carol Ledet Falgout, 100, a native and resident of Raceland was born on Thursday, December 24, 1914 and passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Leonard Louis Falgout, III (Gordon Ann); daughters, Carol F. Murzi, Linda F. Stevens (Francis); sister Lula Mae Zeringue; grandchildren, Thomas Falgout (Lisa), Benny Falgout (Tonya), Denise Falgout, Michael Murzi, Jr. (Veronica), Suzanne Theriot (Darren), Peter Murzi (Michelle), Anthony Murzi (Amber), Ann Shelly (Joe), Chris Babin (Gypsy), Tim Babin (Shelly), Kristal Stevens, Damian Stevens (Rachel); great grandchildren, Lilly Jane, Lane, Abigail, Collin, Katherine, Caroline, Michael, III, Devin (Brittney), Shelbie (Trey), Josie, Niya, Kaleb, Quincy, Joshua, Matt (Ashley), Michelle (Bryan), Lauren, Skyler (daughter of Jennifer), Aubrie, Evan, Courtney, Devin, Cy, Kaitlin, Jonah, Bryce, Reece, Bennet; great great grandchild, Carleigh.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Leonard Louis Falgout, Jr.; father, Alfred Paul Ledet; mother, Annette Marie Roussell Ledet; brother, John Bruce Ledet (Sarah); sister, Irma Katherine Ledet, Myrtle Ledet Arcement (Clarence); father-in-law, Leonard Louis Falgout, Sr.; mother-in-law, Louise Rodrigue Falgout; brother-in-law, Thompson Zeringue; son-in-law, Michael Murzi.
She was a member of Catholic Daughters, Ladies Alter Society, AARP, BPW, Homemakers.
